Senior Living
About us:

Elena's Manor is more than just a name it's a tribute to the life, love, and legacy of an extraordinary woman: Elena Damian. Born in Romania in September 1941, Elena is a nurturing mother, was a devoted wife for 60 years, and a compassionate caregiver. In 1983, she and her husband, Anthony, courageously brought their growing family of eight children to the United States in search of a better life. Elena was 41 years old at the time and pregnant with her ninth child.
With a background in nursing from her homeland, Elena began working as a caregiver in 1986, just three years after arriving in the U.S. Over the next 21 years, she not only raised her large family but also opened her home to care for hundreds of elderly individuals in need. As a hands-on caregiver and small business owner, she poured her heart into her work— offering not just physical care, but also emotional and spiritual support to every resident who crossed her threshold.
To those she cared for and to the broader Romanian community, she isn't just
"Elena." She is Mamica-a beloved mother figure, admired for her grace and beauty, patience, and boundless compassion. Her care home was a place of peace, dignity, and warmth. Families praised the immaculate care she provided and the respect with which she treated every soul entrusted to her.
Even as she tended to others, Elena remained deeply rooted in her family and faith.
Her love for service inspired many of her children to follow in her footsteps, continuing the work she held so dear.
Elena's Manor is named in her honor—to celebrate a full life of selfless devotion and to carry her legacy forward. Here, we are committed to caring for our residents with the same love, integrity, and grace that defines Elena's life. Our guiding principle is the very one she lived by every day until present.
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
Elena Damian - Our Morning Star. Our Mother. The Legend.
